Festival of the Arts

So as most of you know, next week will be the 2009 Festival of the Arts in Old Town Newhall. This year, Animation Club was lucky enough to be invited to run a both, where we can show off either the animation or art skills we are exposed to, and show the outside public what our club is all about.

What we need to do is figure out who wil be able to run the booth and represent our club. The Festival will be an all day event on both October 3rd and 4th, with Saturday being from 10am to 9pm and Sunday going from 10am to 6pm. Anyone who is available for either of those days would be greatly appreciated. For more info, please contact Jeff.

So far I think I might be able to go and man the booths. But not sure if anything last minute might come up. I think what the best thing to do is carpool there. I myself have never been there, so I do not know what the parking situation is for this kind of festival. I'll ask everybody in the club on Friday on whether or not who can go.

Thanks Sreyeesh.

This is a great opportunity for the club to earn points and money. I hope that a few of you might be interested in sharing your art with the community. If more than one person can go each day, thenyou can work in shifts.
Saturday the festival is open 10a - 9p (but the booth can be manned for just 8 of those hours).
Sunday is from 10a - 5p.
Parking and entry fees (if any) will be covered.

We will be discussing this more fully at Friday's club meeting.
