Toy Story: The Friday...

Hey Troops,

So I've been checking in with Fandango on a daily basis for the Valencia Town Center theater to see showtimes for Toy Story, but for whatever reason, they are still yet to have any listings for ANY movies this Friday (unless we want to go to the cinema masterpiece that is 'Couples Retreat'. They seem to have plenty of tickets! :D).

I'll be checking in and out with the website throughout the week, hopefully having good news before Friday.

If anyone else has any way to get showtimes for this Friday, please feel free to check it out for the rest of us and post it here. It seems that all the other days Toy Story is offered, its been 11, 3, and 7 o'clock showtimes. I'd guess it'll be the same for Friday, but don't hold me to that until I get the final word.

I heard that they might only be showing this movie for a couple weeks, so we might not be able to go. There will still not be a meeting if this is the case.

Yeah, its being advertised for 2 weeks, but this Friday will only be the end of the first week, so I don't see any reason as to why it wouldn't be showing.

I'll update here as soon as I get anymore info.

UPDATE!

So FINALLY, Fandango has posted the showtimes for Toy Story 1 and 2 for Friday, October 9th (aka, this Friday).

As I assumed, the showtimes for Toy Story 1 and 2 will be at the same time as it was earleir this week, with the showtimes being at 11AM, 3PM, and 7PM. Personally, I think 3 will be most ideal, since everyone could still work on their projects in lab, have our meeting at 1, and plan how we can all get to the theater as a group, for the benefit of those without transportation *cough*Me*cough*

Actually, I can ask my sister if she could drop us off at the movie theater. But that seems a bit like a crapshoot.

hey people... can I talk about something?

I live in Palmdale, and I don't have any classes on Fridays, and so honestly it seems that I can't really make it to meetings as much as I'd like to. See, I take the train in order to get to Santa Clarita on a regular basis, and going to the club on Fridays would really waste too much time and money. I tried last week, but the train was an hour or so late, and by the time I got to the school everyone was already heading out (I'm pretty sure I saw some of you on the bus I was on anyway). And so obviously I can't rely on Public transportation in terms of getting to the club on time, but that's really all I have to aid me right now.
I was wondering if there were any way to support the club or participate in meeting without actually having to be there every time. If not, then unfortunately I'll have to wait until next semester to join and participate...
